CES YES
Cooperative Extension Supports Youth Environmental Stewardship
Cooperative Extension Supports Youth Environmental Stewardship (CES YES), initiated by Elaine, is a national project that seeks to strengthen the abilities of Extension educators, 4-H county and state faculty, and professionals from other natural resources agencies to serve communities, youth leaders and youth. The project offers a variety of resources, including Earth Connections fact sheets and sample activity guides listed here, to guide youth leaders. The project was developed with the advice of a national advisory committee, and with support from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Sample fact sheets include:
- Earth Connections: Engaging Youth in Community Environmental Activities
- Earth Connections: Planning Youth-Directed Natural Resources and Environmental Action Programs
